MANILA, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino has declared December 24, 2012  a special non-working holiday throughout the country.

December 24, a Monday, falls between a Sunday and a regular holiday Christmas Day.

“The declaration of 24 December 2012 as a special (non-working) day will give the people full opportunity to celebrate Christmas with their family and loved ones,” President Aquino said in Proclamation No. 361.

“The Department of Labor and Employment is hereby directed to issue appropriate circular to implement this Proclamation for the private sector,” he added.

I don’t agree. Dapat regular work day yung araw na yan. Si PNoy talaga pasikat lang. Yun lang kaya niyang gawin. Akalain mo ba naman gawing special non-working holiday yung December 24? Sinong magaling na presidente ang ginagawa yun?

A straight path to improve the economy. more non working days. Gov. employees are paid for not working, common employees get double pay, which is double added to the price calculation of businesses. And all people will pay more, “improving” the economy. Noynoy wisdom….
