2 killed, 4 hurt in Sulu blast—police
ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines—Two persons were killed while four others were wounded in an explosion in Jolo, Sulu Wednesday morning, police said.
But Chief Superintendent Bienvenido Latag, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao police director, ruled out terrorism in the incident, saying the explosion in Barangay (village) Tulay was caused by dynamite intended for fishing.
Latag identified the fatalities as couple Idsih and Ruby Hadjula.

“Idsih was fixing his detonators for the dynamite but he accidentally ignited it,” Latag said.
The names of the injured were not immediately available.
