CEBU Queen City United (CQCU) clinched for the first time the men’s open title of the 14th Aboitiz Cup, which came to an end yesterday at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

CQCU also has another reason to celebrate the weekend as it also finished third in the first round of the United Football League Second Division Tournament.

In the Aboitiz Cup, CQCU edged CrazyHorse, 2-1, to earn the right to represent Cebu in the Visayas eliminations of the Smart Club Championships.
