Groups to stage noise barrage vs. oil price hike

MANILA, Philippines—Coalition Against Oil Price Increase (CAOPI) urged the public to join the noise barrage this evening to register their protest to the oil price hikes.

The noise barrage will be between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at at Edsa corner West Avenue, Edsa corner Quezon Avenue, Edsa-Cubao, Philcoa, Monumento in Caloocan and Magsaysay Boulevard in Manila.

Meanwhile, transport group will also stage a noise barrage along Auroro Boulevard in Cubao while the urban poor Kadamay group will hold a noise barrage along Edsa-North Triangle in Quezon City.
