With a dozen kids to feed, who cares about taking a bath…

  • Cristina Corleto

aysus, ikaw nga ang mag-drive for 12 hours non-stop sa polluted street of manila. tingnan nating kung hindi ka umitim sa alikabok at bumaho.

The scent “grew” on you, wtf!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000225241661 Patrick Tambay

Simple. Bumaba ka kagad ng taxi. Baboy na driver ang nasakyan mo.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_HEPE3RXMTPCCSE3TJG5UOFBI5Q sanny

  • rnoldrmada

Impose uniform and hygiene? Are you out of your mind? These drivers baerly make enough money to buy food and pay for their housing let alone an added expense for uniforms. If you feel offended by the sight of jeepney driver in shorts and undershirts and his or her stinkness, by all means get off and take another one insted. There are thousands of jeepneys all over metro manila to choose from and any pne of them would be happy to take you to your destination.
    Douchebag…..

  • sacrebleau

Para sakin di bale ng mangamoy sila as long as long as they have a brain at nakakasunod sa batas trapiko. Where there are dyips there is chaos.

      • sacrebleau

This is a big challenge :-D But it’s good if it can be done.

  • frank stevens

are you sure its the jeepney drivers that are mabaho?

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_HEPE3RXMTPCCSE3TJG5UOFBI5Q sanny

karamihan kasi ng mga jeepney drivers isa o dalawa lang ang t-shirt. pag naligo ganoon pa rin ang isusuot dahil hindi nalabhan  at naninigarilyo pa at umiinom di pa nag bra-’brush your teeth’ he, he,ang mga iyan di gumagamit ng deodorant kasi maraming chiks.

  • WeAry_Bat

Due to the work of drivers, they can be carriers of diseases.  Cleanliness and hygiene is a must to prevent epidemics.

  • koaks2

    wag ka tumabi sa driver

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_SWTZ7L5OAVYJ6CBMEVJD5YUYSM Mike

There are some drivers who take a bath but still won’t follow traffic rules, so it doesn’t apply at all.

  • DarkSideOfTheMoon2

baka nawalan sila ng tubig nung maamoy mo at kailangan pumasada agad…

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_DYGXVUACJVVIBXOSYKDOELZRUE JamesB

Not exactly defending stinky jeepney drivers but “enforcement of uniform”? Does anyone know of somebody who owns a fleet of jeepneys? I know there are companies that own a fleet of taxis but I don’t know anyone who owns so many jeepneys. At P8.50 minimum fare and rising costs of fuel and what little earnings they are left with, I think getting a proper uniform is the least of jeepney drivers’ worries.

  • Ralph L

ang jeepney driver, paliguan, pakainin, bihisan mo man, jeepney driver pa ren!!!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_WIWYLFLU4LPKS7B2ZLLRVFKS3Y vir_a

Not only jeepney but also tricycle drivers. They should not wear slippers too.

  • valsore

C’mon, the smell and unkept looks of jeepney drivers is part of their aura.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_XY3GGHWDTCKXD3YI5WX2I4RRDY dodo

  • absg

Filipinos don’t take baths. They shower.

    • billy31

with the pressure of water coming from Water Districts likw MWSS, only 1 % of household/bathroom have a shower. so only 1% shower. 99% take a bath.

  • noonyan
