Timmy Cruz to facilitate talk at Brahma Kumaris
SINGER and movie actress Timmy Cruz will be at the Brahma Kumaris to facilitate a talk dubbed “TLC: Meeting the tender loving and caring U – It’s nice to meet the real you,” on March 24 at 6 p.m.
Cruz became popular in the 1980s for her songs “Boy,” “Joke Lang” and “Tingin.”
Cruz has turned into a gospel singer under Praise Music, using her talent to spread positive thinking and living. She also has projects with other labels, such as her most recent inTIM8 under STAR Records. The collection not only carries new songs by Cruz, it also contains reflections and words of love for the Divine and nature.
Cruz was awarded the 2009 Fr. Neri Satur Environmental Heroism Award for her efforts in helping create a livable planet. Even at her young age, Cruz already felt her affinity with the earth, prompting her to become a vegetarian and to pursue her passion for gardening.
