Tricycle dispatcher stabbed in Lapu

A TRICYCLE dispatcher was stabbed and wounded by a 21-year-old man whom he reprimanded for allegedly sniffing a solvent in barangay Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City.

Mark Anthony Cosep, 25, a resident of barangay Looc, was wounded in the buttocks.

Police identified the suspect as Eutemio Ombina, 21, who fled after the incident. They said Cosep saw Ombina sniffing a roof sealant and reprimanded him.

Ombina got irked, drew a knife and stabbed Cosep before fleeing. Cosep was rushed to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
