Madrideo said the case was reported to them by Imelda Dioquino, the owner of a school bus service vehicle with the license plate TXT 139.

According to Dioquino, she was riding in the school bus service vehicle which was traveling on the northbound lane of Edsa near Cubao, Quezon City at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday when she spotted a taxi cab with the same license plate parked beside the sidewalk.

Dioquino, meanwhile, told the police that this was the second time that she had spotted a taxi cab with the same license plate as her vehicle.

She said that when it happened the first time, she just confronted the driver and operator of the cab who turned over the license plates to her.
