Copies of ‘Ramgen sex video’ seized

POLICE arrested a man who allegedly sold pirated CD and DVD copies of the Ramgen Revilla and Janelle Manahan sex video in downtown Colon, Cebu City, last Thursday.

Marck Ismael will be charged with  violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code and Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.

The operation came after Manahan’s family sought the assistance  of the police  to  stop the proliferation of the sex video, said  Senior Supt. Jose Pante, chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7).

Police said Ismael sold a DVD copy of the sex video to a poseur buyer.

Seized during the operation were 20 copies of the video being sold for P6,000 and other pornographic videos worth P26, 900, said police./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
