6 domestic flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines—(UPDATE) Four domestic flights to Caticlan and back to Manila and two flights to Busuanga in Palawan and back to Manila were cancelled Thursday morning due to bad weather conditions, the Manila International Airport Authority said.

The flights, two from Cebu Pacific, two from Seair, and another two from Air Philippines, did not push through, according to the MIAA Media Affairs Division.

Cebu Pacific cancelled flight 5J 895 from Manila to Caticlan and its return flight, 5J 898.

Seair cancelled DG 701 flight to Caticlan and DG702, its return flight to Manila.

The 11:20 a.m. Air Philippines flight to Busuanga and back to Manila were cancelled. The two flights were identified as 2P 033 and 2P 034.

Meanwhile, 19 varied international and domestic flights were slightly delayed, also because of rains early morning Thursday.

The MIAA, however, said the 19 delayed flights had been resolved as the skies cleared up later in the day.
