MANILA, Philippines — Parts of the country will experience scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to a diffused tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and a wind convergence affecting Eastern Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Tuesday.

A wind convergence is wherein winds merge in a certain area.

“Eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over Southern Mindanao which may trigger flashfloods and landslides,” the forecast said.
