2 more domestic flights cancelled

MANILA, Philippines—Citing bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) on Sunday said it had cancelled two more domestic flights, bringing to eight the total number of canceled domestic flights as of 3 p.m..

The MIAA public affairs office said the canceled flights were Cebu Pacific’s 5J 521, its flight to Naga City, and 5J 522, the airline’s return flight to Manila.

The cancelled six domestic flights, also due to bad weather, were:

o  Cebu Pacific flights 5J 711, Manila to Catarman, Northern Samar, and 5J 712, its return trip to Manila; 5J 821, Manila to Virac, Catanduanes, and 5J 822, its return trip to Manila.

o  Air Philippines flights 2P 261, Manila to Naga City, and 2P 262, its return trip to Manila.

Both Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines are based at Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The weather condition did not adversely affect outgoing and incoming international flights, the MIAA said.
