Stray bullet injuries: 8 and still counting

MANILA, Philippines—Not long after Philippine National Police chief Director General Nicanor Bartolome pegged at eight the number of injuries due to stray bullets, the Pangasinan provincial police sent a report on yet another victim.
Superintendent Gerry Roxas, spokesperson of the Pangasinan provincial police, said that 24-year-old Ryan Iglesias Russel of Bongato East village in the town of Bayambang was hit by a stray bullet at around 4:15 p.m.
He said that police have yet to determine what type of firearm was used by the culprit.
