    Simple lang ito:

    Are the salary and perks received by Mrs Corona excessive?
    Answer:      Compared to other Government owned corporation, No because it will just be in the middle of the pack.  The perks of other government offcials are much higher.

    Does Justice Corona violate the constitution for having a wife in a Government Owned corporation:
    Answer:      The constitution specifically only prohibits the President for having any family member in the government.  The constitution then prevents any cabinet members for having any conflict of interest. Article 7 Section 13

    Does the appointment of Mrs Corona affect the independence of Justice Corona?
    Answer:      The focus is on the independence of the Judiciary branch from the Executive Branch.  If one were to look carefully, a Chief Justice, who is appointed by a sitting president would be the best suspect for not being independent from a sitting president.  As Justice Corona nor Mrs Corona were not appointed by Aquino. then they are free from any suspicion that they are not independent from the Executive Branch.

    Does the appointment of Mrs Corona affect Justice Corona in the case of Mrs Arroyo?
    Answer:  Perhaps.  But one would say also that all the justices in the case have their own biases as they are either appointed by Mrs Arroyo or Mr. Aquino, who has a personal stake on this case.  Their duty then is to make sure that they are compliant with the constitution and that they should be able to point the specific law which the decision is based on.  They cannot based their decision on what is popular but on what the law says.

    President = COO

    Chairman of the Board = CEO

    Those titles refer to the same position. Mrs. Corona didn’t get multiple salaries as alleged. Just one.

    Like a1phantom said, compared to other GOCCs, JHMC salaries and perks are not high. As a matter of fact, when Mrs. Corona was appointed, she took it upon herself to take a 40% salary cut because she couldn’t find the legal basis for the increase that the OIC implemented.
