Abalos turns self over to Pasay court

MANILA, Philippines — Former Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman Benjamin Abalos turned himself over to the Pasay City court which issued the warrant for his arrest.

“I am sad,” Abalos told reporters as he proceeded inside the courtroom.

Abalos is accompanied by his son, Mandaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos.
