Pasay court orders Abalos arrest

MANILA, Philippines– The Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 112 has ordered the arrest of former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin Abalos.
Judge Jesus Mupas dismissed the motion for determination of probable cause issued by Abalos.

Abalos, in his motion said there was not enough evidence to pursue a case for election sabotage against him.
Along with the dismissal of the motion, the court ordered Abalos’ arrest.
