Personal grudges was the motive in the attack, said police. Police said Gelbolingo was upset at Bayon due to reports that the victim had a relationship with the suspect’s married sister.

Police said Gelbolingo, who will be charged with homicide, was previously jailed for a homicide case but was released on parole in 2006. CORRESPONDENT RHEA RUTH V. ROSELL
