Couple killed in road accident in Malabon

MANILA, Philippines — A couple was killed after the motorcycle they were riding figured in a road mishap with a 10-wheeler truck along the McArthur Highway in Potrero, Malabon Friday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.
Charlie Nozares of the MMDA Metrobase said that the accident occured at around 9:30 a.m. and the victims have since been taken to a funeral home.
The vehicles were cleared by responding MMDA officers at around 11:29 a.m., said Nozares.
