Senator Antonio Trillanes IV can be arrested anytime because he is facing a non-bailable offense, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said Tuesday.

“The proclamation directed all enforcement agencies to apprehend him so he will be placed in custody,” Guevarra said.

“Maybe for now if he is attending session at the Senate, the Senate can take custody of Trillanes,” he added.

Guevarra said the legislative immunity cannot apply to Trillanes because the senator is facing a non-bailable offense.  /muf
