Pasay cops nab uncle for raping 2 minor nieces

Pasay City police officers arrested a 48-year-old man for allegedly raping his two minor nieces several times.

Police said the 48-year old suspect reportedly raped his 12-year-old niece and her 14-year-old sister.

The suspect was arrested at his house along Barangay 14, Zone 1 in Pasay City. Police declined to identify the suspect as revealing his identity will also reveal the identities of his victims.

Initial police investigation showed that the suspect first raped his 14-year-old niece in 2015 when she was still 11. Police said she was last raped by the suspect in October 2017. Her parents only discovered the incident this August after she became pregnant and had a miscarriage.

Southern Police District spokesperson Supt. Jenny Tecson said the victim’s parents are always away from home for work.

Police said the suspect also allegedly raped his 12-year-old niece several times in their house when her parents were out to work.

Police seized from the suspect a memory card that stored sex videos between him and his 12-year-old niece.

The suspect is now detained at the Pasay City Police Station as rape charges are being prepared against him.  /muf
