6, including 3 minors, nabbed in Caloocan drug raid

Six persons, including three minors, were nabbed by police officers during a drug raid in Caloocan City on Tuesday.

Police said suspects Edward Arciga, 19; Guiller Marco Alde, 18 and Ricky Rimando Egos, 21, were arrested during the bust along Salmon Street in Barangay 8. Also nabbed during the raid were a 17-year-old and two 15-year-old minors.

The suspects were arrested after police was informed by a tipster of an alleged shabu session along Salmon Street at around 4:00 p.m.

Police said the suspects were caught while allegedly in the act of using shabu. Seized from them were two sachets of suspected shabu or crystal meth, two aluminum foils, and two disposable lighters.

The suspects were detained at the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Caloocan City Police Station, while the minors were brought to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.  /muf
