Tropical Storm Karding exited the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Saturday afternoon, but it spawned the southwest monsoon rains over most parts of the main island of Luzon, including Metro Manila, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

The continuous rainfall has caused flooding in many parts of Metro Manila.
