Some Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) passengers were forced to use their umbrellas as “rain” fell inside one of its coaches.
In a video posted by Giselle Visitacion Tolosa, some passengers in the first coach of an MRT-3 train had their umbrellas opened as water poured in front of them.
Tolosa told INQUIRER.net on Wednesday that heavy rain fell between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
However, she said that even though the rain had already stopped, it was still raining inside the MRT-3 coach when she took the video between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the same day.
“After heavy rain between 2 to 4 pm, sumakay na ako ng MRT BONI station. Wala naman ng ulan sa labas pero panay ang tulo pa rin sa loob, hanggang makaabot kami sa Taft,” she said.
The MRT-3 management has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident. /cbb
