The co-host of Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux “Mocha” Uson in a viral video that was meant to explain federalism has defended the controversial jingle, saying  it was the people who put malice in it.

“Anong masama doon? Kayo nagbibigay na parang p*kp*k tas dede. Kayo ang makukuwan ang mga pag-iisip. Ang dudumi ng mga pag-iisip ninyo (What is wrong with that? Your minds are dirty),” pro-Duterte blogger Drew Olivar said in a separate Facebook video posted on Sunday.

“Parang may sinabi na, ‘diyan lang ba napunta yung P90 million?‘ Hindi pa nga nabibigay ‘yung budget di ba? Hoy! para sabihin ko sa inyo, hindi ako nababayaran dahil mayaman ako (There were questions if that’s how the P90 million was spent. The budget hasn’t bee released yet. And I would tell you that no one can pay me because I am rich),” he added.

Olivar insisted that it was the netizens who put malice on the video posted on Uson’s Facebook Page. He added that critics are “just envious” of him, but the video has actually a lot of trivia about federalism.

“Ang dami-daming trivia doon sa video, ang dami-daming magagandang nasabi about sa pederalismo. Pero bakit ‘yan lang ang inyong napansin. Bakit itong sayaw-sayaw lang na ito? Naiingit lang kayo (The video is full of trivia, and there were many good things there about federalism. Why focus on that?  Why pique on this one dance? You are just envious),” he said.

The jingle’s lyrics which was perceived by many as lewd also drew the ire of many senators and lawmakers because they include the line: “I-pepe, i-pepe, i-dede, i-dede, pepe pepe pederalismo!” While dancing, Olivar also pointed to his crotch and chest.
