A liaison officer of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) was arrested after allegedly threatening a traffic enforcer who stopped him for a traffic violation in Barangay Sto. Niño, Parañaque City.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), Silibino Tomas, 47, of Ermita, Manila, was flagged down by traffic enforcer Alvin Ambil, 39, , along the C5 Extension near Kaingin Road on Friday morning.

But instead of handing over his driver’s license, Tomas allegedly introduced himself to Ambil as an NBI agent.
