Flash flood hits Bocaue town in Bulacan

BOCAUE, BULACAN – Waist-deep flash flood affected villages here on Friday (Aug. 3) as runoff rainwater dumped at the end of the week cascaded down from the City of San Jose Del Monte.

Mayor Joni Villanueva-Tugna suspended classes in all levels in the town.

Rain water from San Jose del Monte first flowed down to Sta. Maria town before reaching this municipality and Bulakan town. It normally drains towards Manila Bay.

Intermittent rains fell from Thursday night (Aug. 2) to Friday dawn. CARMELA REYES-ESTROPE
