Notorious drug pusher nabbed in Lucena

LUCENA CITY – A notorious drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation here early Thursday, police said in a report.

A drug enforcement unit collared Ronald Tolentino, 30, after he sold a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover policeman in an operation in Barangay (village) Market View around 5 a.m., Supt. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said.

Authorities seized five plastic sachets of shabu weighing three grams worth P15,000 in the street market.

The report said the police acted on information from concerned citizens.

“We’ve also been monitoring him. He is too careful. We’re just waiting for the right moment to bust him,” a police agent told the Inquirer.
