2 hurt in Quezon road accident

LUCENA CITY – Two drivers were injured in a three-vehicle accident along the Maharlika Highway in Candelaria town in Quezon province early Friday.

A report from the Quezon police headquarters said an Astro Liner bus driven by Marcus Sasutona accidentally sideswiped a parked motorcycle along the side of the highway in Barangay (village) Mangilag Sur around 6:30 a.m.

The wayward bus also consequently bumped the rear portion of a truck running ahead, report said.

Sasutona and motorcycle driver Randy Arevalo both suffered body injuries and were taken to Candelaria District Hospital for treatment. DELFIN T. MALLARI JR.
