Faulty wiring caused the fire that hit a big shopping mall in Mandaluyong City on Thursday night, fire investigators have found.

In a preliminary report released on Friday, investigators said the fire broke out around 7:12 p.m. Thursday at the construction site located at the back of the mall. The blaze reached third alarm before firefighters declared a fire out around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
