2 inmates bolt Zamboanga del Sur jail

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Police are pursuing two inmates who bolted the jail on Thursday morning in Ramon Magsaysay town, Zamboanga del Sur province.

Chief Superintendent Edwin de Ocampo, deputy regional director for administration, said inmates Danilo Dumados and Nestos Dumados, both facing murder charges, escaped from the provincial district jail around 6:30 a.m. on June 28.

Police were still looking into why the two were able to escape. JULIE ALIPALA
