2 alleged drug pushers fall in Lucena buy-busts
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two alleged local distributors of shabu (crystal meth) and seized P45,000 worth of illegal drugs in separate buy-bust operations in this city on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A local illegal drug enforcement team collared Romelito Delos Reyes Tatel, 32, after he sold shabu to a police agent acting as buyer in Barangay 10 around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Supt. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief said in a report.
Tatel yielded three plastic sachets of shabu weighing three grams worth P15,000 in the street market.
Earlier, the same police team also arrested tricycle driver Argel Jaca Lerum, 32, after he sold shabu to another undercover policeman in Barangay Ibabang Dupay around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities confiscated five sachets of shabu weighing six grams worth P30,000 in the street market.
During Lerum’s arrest, police also nabbed Jessa Mae Acabado Suenan, 18, when the crumpled paper she was holding was found with marijuana.
They were all detained at the city police jail.
