LTFRB suspends bus line in Edsa collision

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has temporarily suspended bus line Joyselle Express Inc. following a bus accident along southbound Edsa Magallanes on June 19.
In a three-page order, the LTFRB slapped a 30-day preventive suspension order against the bus line after one of its southbound buses lost its brakes, rammed another passenger bus, and crashed into a waiting shed.

About 19 persons were injured in the accident, 17 of whom were bus passengers while the other two were bystanders, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). /vvp
