Brother kills brother in Isabela

NAGUILIAN, Isabela – A 48-year-old farmer was hacked to death by his own brother during a fight in Barangay (Village) Santo Tomas here on Wednesday (June 20), the local police said.

Jerry Tangonan was struck on the head and torso with a bolo by his 44-year-old brother, Aladdin. The brothers arrived home drunk after spending the day at the farm’s work when they started quarreling.

Jerry allegedly threatened Aladdin, prompting him to attack his older brother.

Jerry was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. Aladdin fled and is now being tracked down by the Naguilian police.
