Fox’s ordeal not over – Roque

Australian nun Patricia Fox’s ordeal is far from over, according to Malacañang.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the Department of Justice’s order giving Fox a reprieve did not apply to charges that she violated the terms of her stay in the Philippines as a missionary by engaging in partisan political activities.

“Sister Fox is not yet off the hook,” Roque said. “The issue is whether or not she engaged in partisan politics,” he added. —Allan Nawal and Christine O. Avendaño
