Bill requires planting of trees for building permits

The House of Representatives has passed on second reading a bill requiring the planting of trees for any construction of buildings.

The proposed Green Building Act requires all applicants for building permits of residential, commercial, industrial and public development projects to submit a Tree Planting Plan. —JEROME ANING
